Wegter Grootverbruik supplies non food products for professional kitchens and table settings and offers a wide range through an online platform to business customers. To strengthen its online position in the European market and make part of its range accessible to consumers, Wegter sought a partner who could safeguard and enhance the brand experience across all digital channels.

Our approach

At Wegter, consistently applying the brand identity was central. Everything began with a thorough understanding of the target audience. The findings were translated into personas, user stories, and a clear set of requirements for a new e commerce platform.

The implementation

We took full responsibility for the project management of three webshops and one website. From selecting the right e commerce partner to planning, organising, and coordinating all stakeholders, everything was carried out with careful attention to brand consistency.

With a well considered SEO strategy and detailed keyword analysis, we significantly increased the online visibility of the webshops. On page optimisation was carried out carefully and aligned with the different stages of the customer journey, ensuring a seamless connection with customers’ online search behaviour.

By working closely with Wegter’s marketing team, we ensured that knowledge and insights were embedded within the organisation. This enables employees to translate the brand story consistently across all communications, both online and offline.
